There are also daily excursions to the islets of the
Volcano and Thirasia.
As long as for the movement in the island, you won’t
have any problems.
There are many taxis that with a call or a movement
of your hand will be glad to serve you. For your convenience
it would be better to ask the price before you enter
the cab. You will probably avoid overcharging. The taxi
station is located at the central square of Fira.
Local buses have itineraries to almost all the destinations
of island, while the tickets are in really low prices.
If you decide to rent
a car or a motorbike be sure that you have your
driver’s license with you and be careful when
you drive.
