Imerovigli is one of Santorini’s traditional settlements.
It is built at the highest point of Caldera, almost
300 metres higher than the sea level, and it has magnificent
view to the Volcano.
In the settlement is located the castle of Skaros, from
where a path leads to the Remple of Theoskepasti that
is built on an enormous rock over the Caldera.
In
Imerovigli you won’t find many stores or houses.
Most of the buildings are hotels and restaurants of
high quality and high prices.
